To whom it may concern:

Good day! Hope this letter finds you in good stead.

I am a 4th year student of the Ateneo de Manila University School of Law and I would like to
inquire about possible opportunities for a legal research work in your good office and provide you with
my details for your records.

Ethical lawyering is an honorable profession and a potent tool for serving justice. In practice
however, the practice of legal profession can be complex and intricate. Despite mastering the
fundamentals of law, quality research is still a necessity especially for the fine points and technicalities
of the specialized fields of legal practice. In line with this, I would like to possibly offer my service as a
legal researcher.

While having my internship at the Tan Venturaza Valdez Law Firm, I realized that nothing
substitutes for strong resolve and hard work in the field of legal research. Although I am still in the
process of fully understanding the theoretical aspect of the legal practice, I possess the necessary grit
and determination to finish the tasks assigned to me.

I understand that being a part-time or home based legal researcher is unusual in the field. Due
to financial constraints however, I am in dire need of a part time work to support me while I pursue my
last year in law school. Furthermore, being currently a law student, I have accounts in various legal tools
which can greatly aid me in my research despite not being physically present in the office.

The reputation of your good firm as a leader in the field of legal research and litigation shows
that you have a deep understanding of the needs of your clients as well as your employees. It would be
such an honor to advance my legal career with you given the opportunity.
