Course Description: The course is designed to introduce students to the basic concepts and
practices of management. It focuses on the nature, environment and functions of management. It
is also designed to give students insight into the recent trends in management.

Course Objectives
At the end of this course, students will be able to:
 Acquire a sound understanding of the nature and practice of management;
 Describe the environment of management and the various decision-making situations
