Leggy Froggy

No-Sew Crochet Pattern

Pattern by:

Notes
This pattern is worked in continuous rounds, so do not SL ST and CH1 at the end
of each round. Use stitch markers to mark beginning of rounds.
The ending round count does not include limbs.
The finished size using Premier Parfait Chunky yarn and 5mm hook is about 8
inches long.
There is no gauge for this project. You will want to adjust your hook size to your
yarn to make sure your stuffing doesn't show through.

Leggy Froggy
Start with Main Body color:

R1: CH9. Starting in 2nd CH from hook, SC8. Turn and SC8 in other side of CH. (16)

R2: SC1, BO, SC4, BO, SC9. (16)


You may need to pop out the BO
stitches with your finger.

R3-6: SC around for 4 rounds (16)

R7: SC1, *CH15, SL ST in 2nd CH from hook, then another SL ST in next CH (this is the
"Base CH"). {CH2, SL ST in 2nd CH from hook, then another SL ST in Base CH.} Rep from
{ to } once more. SL ST 12 down the arm CH.* SC8 on body, then Rep from * to * once

At this point we can add facial details. Feel free to put your own spin on your
froggy and give him different facial expressions. I like the grumpy look.

to meet with the first leg, this will make finishing a little easier.
Fasten off, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Stuff your Froggy.
Hold both sides of the froggy together and you're going to fasten the sides
together. Using your tapestry needle, go back and forth through the outside loops
of each side all the way down. Fasten off and weave end in, and you're done!
